Dear MCP Parents:
We need your GA State taxes to go to Jewish education. Georgia has an SSO program that allows GA taxpayers to divert their GA taxes to a private school of your choice and Morah Carol’s Place is an approved school of choice and boy could we use the help!
Remember, this is not a donation. This is literally a dollar for dollar tax credit. It's an amazing opportunity. Why not divert the state taxes that you already pay to help children who otherwise would not be able to afford a good Jewish Preschool experience?
Please read the letter below from our representatives at Federation and PLEASE call or email me for more information as well. - Thanks so much.
Time is running out to sign up for 2024, and we want to ensure that you do not miss out on the opportunity! Applications for a 2024 tax credit can be submitted here through Georgia GOAL, but must be entered before 12/31 as the cap on tax credits is expected to be met on the first day of 2024.
As most of you know, earlier this year, the ALEF Fund decided to partner with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program (GOAL), the largest organization of its kind in the state, for the administration of the Education Expense Tax Credit moving forward. While continuing to leverage Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s philanthropic expertise and involvement, this partnership with GOAL has served to maximize success for the ALEF Fund schools under this popular tax credit program.
While the ALEF Fund no longer serves administratively in the student scholarship organization function, the mission of the ALEF Fund in improving the affordability of Jewish education remains unhindered and unchanged.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Georgia GOAL or Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta directly via the contact information below.
Thank you,

The GOAL Program remains an extraordinary opportunity granted to Georgians by our legislative representatives. However, it's never been in higher demand.
When you contribute to Georgia GOAL, you're not only awarded a 100% state income tax credit, but also the satisfaction of knowing your dollars are making a real difference in your community.
By simply choosing to contribute to Georgia GOAL for a 100% Georgia income tax credit, you're helping to provide financial aid to deserving families seeking a private K-12 education.
It is almost certain that GOAL tax credits will be oversubscribed in 2024, just as they were this year. Accordingly, you must submit your 2024 application before the end of 2023 in order to obtain a GOAL tax credit. In addition, keep in mind that you are unlikely to be approved for the full amount of your requested tax credit.
