Dear MCP Parents,
We had yet another fantastic week at Morah Carol’s Place!
This week, we began to introduce Rosh Hashanah (as the holidays grow ever closer).
The True Blue Twos learned about Rosh Hashanah, made Rosh Hashanah cards, and worked on some incredible Rosh Hashanah art.
The Shining Stars finished up working on this month’s middah theme, “ושננתם לבניך” (“And you should teach your children”), and began learning all about bees! Their class also began learning about Rosh Hashanah and doing some awesome Rosh Hashanah activities.
We had a brief break from Middot Yoga and Hebrew Through Movement this week, but will resume next week with many fun and exciting review activities! We are excited to pick right back up where we left off. Words we’ve learned so far are להרים (L’harim/lift), להוריד (l’horeed/lower), לקום (l’koom/stand), לשבת (l’shevet/sit), ללכת (l’lechet /walk),לעצור (L’atzor/stop), and לקפוץ (leekfotz/hop).
